How to Create a Spa in Your Bathroom!

Going to the spa can be a relaxing, invigorating experience, but regular spa visits can cost a fortune! With these simple steps, you can save money by creating an affordable spa experience in your own bathroom.
Set the tone! You don't have to repaint your bathroom to enjoy a spa experience, but if you're up for it, it will add a nice touch. Pick a soft, relaxing color. Spas range from earthy, natural tones to light, pale colors. Some examples are sea-foam green, warm peach, lavender, or pale blue. Stick with colors that aren't too bold, neon, or eye-catching.
Before you begin your spa, make sure the bathroom is clean and scrubbed down. After all, a spa would be pointless if the clutter stresses you out! Set up your spa with any theme or color you like. Stack some fluffy towels on the counter or a shelf. Fill a wooden tray with pampering items such as a sea sponge, foot brush, back brush, loofah, eye compress, etc. Then place lotions, bath oils, and soaps in a woven basket. Include some scented soaps, even if they're not used the scents will fill the bathroom!
Light some candles with soft, relaxing scents like lavender and place throughout the bathroom and around the tub. Adding live plants to your bathroom can bring even more atmosphere. Try anchoring some fresh flowers in a decorative dish with pebbles.
Now that you've set up your spa, you're ready to fill the tub. Herbs are inexpensive and can create and amazing bath. Create a bundle of sage, lavender, french tarragon, and mint. Then tie the bundle to your bathtub facet and let hot water splash over it to create a fragrant steam bath.
Bring your spa items into the tub. Good items are sliced cucumbers for your eyes, facial scrubs and masks, and any other skin care products based on your skin needs. Beauticontrol has some amazing spa lines to choose from that cost less than regular spa visits and work just as good! Come to The Style Lounge to purchase Beauticontrol products.
Relax and enjoy your spa experience!
